VermEx Limited is a family-owned and operated company established in York 2000 by husband and wife team Andy and Kate Barker.

After working with an international pest control company for 16 years, Andy became disillusioned with the levels of service being offered to clients so set up VermEx to redress the balance. With over 35 years’ experience in the business, he’s now able to offer an unparalleled level of expertise and customer care.

Here at VermEx, we pride ourselves on offering the highest standards of health and safety, as well as service, and all our technicians are fully qualified and trained to the highest standards. In addition, VermEx is registered to the British Pest Control Association Quality Standard for pest control service operations for your complete peace of mind.

We service domestic customers in York and its surrounding areas, but also have a wide range of clients in the commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors throughout the North of England. VermEx has built up an impressive client base, ranging from domestic customers to large commercial businesses.
